How to create a document in word processing:

Step by step instructions to create  a document in Microsoft Word
Step 1: From the desktop or from ‘Start’ menu. Open Microsoft Word.



Step 2: Microsoft Word will open up automatically into a new document ready for typing.








Step 3: If Microsoft Word is already opened and if you wish to start a new document , click file at the top left hand corner of document.
Some versions of Word may have an Office button instead of a File menu. This is a round Office icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Click the Office button if you have one.


Step 4: A new menu will pop up. Choose New from the menu. This will offer you a choice of templates to choose from, on the right of the screen. In this case, choose a blank document, so click Blank document. Other templates can be chosen depending on your required layout or design.






Step 5: A new document will open up. You’re now ready to type into your document
